our first BBA

The younger girls and I just started our first BBA bread!! It's a cold water pizza dough! It's setting in the fridge right now. heheh. Now I know it's not going to be perfect because I didn't know it needed to set in there overnight, but regardless. :) The girls are excited to eat their very first compleatly homemade (by them) pizza. It's will never be as good as pookieboo's but i'm sure it will be mah-va-less dah-ling. I took some pictures of the girls playing with the dough and will post them and more as the process continues through the day but now it's time for our STAR WARS marathon to start!! Is it so bad the my daughter loves Darth Varder as much as she does? This year look like we are having a fairy birthday for baby girl and a STAR WARS one for middlest. How do you make a cake for that??? NO WAY can I replicate the Millennium Falcon in cake. I might be imaginative but not that good enough. hahah. Ya'll have a great morning!! Will add more on the pizza this evening.

UPDATE: We are on the first of the original STARWARS movies 4-6 are the best but that's just my humble opinion. Middlest's as well.. gotta love Darth Vader! Our pizza turned out good.. we had to contiune to inprovise. We tried to make a bread slider thingy but we failed so we had to use a cold pizza stone. It worked for the cheesy bread but not the pizza though I think it had nore to do with the amount of toppings the girls put on thier pizza's. They said they were the best pizza's ever!! I think i would have to agree my little girls did a great job on the very first BBA bread! Good job pookieboo's!!! Now I just have to figgure out how Big Daddy and I will stay awake to see the New Year come in.

What to do?

My middlest is having her first overnight alone with her gramma, Eldest is over at her mothers house and once again it's just me and babygirl. What did we do to celebrate? We bought a cheap meal at the mall and played then we went to go see the new disney princess Tiana. We liked the frog princess, the music was amazing but.. I didn't really LOVE it. Sorry. To be honest it kinda scared me hahah babygirl spent half the movie in my lap hiding from the shadowmen. If you haven't seen it think GHOST (the movie). I did how ever like the message that the movie had in it. In terms of role model Tiana is right up there with Mulan (in the Disney world). I just thought it was a bit nightmare inducing. I also got to meet an internet/ fellow Geocacher for the first time IRL. Today has been a nice relaxing day. The kind of days that are fun and enjoyable not hurried and stressed out. It reminded me that sometimes I forget I need to SLOW DOWN and not rush everywhere. Tomorrow is New Years Eve. WOOHOO another year will soon be passing us by. I have not decided if that is good or bad hahaha. We have no plans thus far and to be honest I'm fine with that. I borrowed the girls favorite movies from my friend and I think we will have home made pizza and a Star Wars marathon!! WOOHOO! I hope you guys have a GREAT New Years Eve. I am heading off to bed to watch one of my favorite movies GiGi. I LOVE how in the end she turns a "playboy" into a man to marry!

Christmas and other foilbles

I hope that everyone had an amazing Christmas filled with lots of family and lots of love. Ours certinally was, we had the opertuntiy to spend Chrstmas with my Grandfather who came down from Missori. He's gone home now but we had a great time.
Christmas eve we had a horriable wind storm. We had the funniest Christmas eve we've probably ever had.. we did some caching on the way to my parents house, and went to church with my parents and Grandfather and then ate my dads amazing pizza.. we hurried up and left when the girls realized that at 10pm Christmas eve with Santa on the way mommy had not made cookies for Santa!!!!!!!!! So 11 at night we are hurring to get cookies made, advent done, and stocking set out. When i realise we also didn't help the girls wrap thier presents for everyone!! We decided we would just pass them out and not wrap them. It was CRAZY!! I did get my Nikon and it is one the most amazing camera's i've played with so far!! I also got the Breadbakers apprentice!! My favortie gift though is a tie between the cast iron flying pig and the shelf my husband built for me just for all my records!! Is that not the sweetest thing? He built me a shelf just for my precious records! Even if while building it in front of the Christmas tree it toppled over and maimed several ornaments. We had a great time! My family decided to take Grandpa out to a local steak house  the night before he left. It was one of those times where everyone is laughing so hard to keep from crying! The kids were excited about going out to eat with Grampa and had not had a nap... they were climbing everywhere and could not sit still. The restraunt staff had taken a crabby pill before we got there. It was just sooo bad, but we survived. Eldest got a geomate jr. for Christmas so we had several cache-ing adventures. The girls all got thier very own micro's and are trying to decide where to hide them. The girls also got thier own computer!! However. In the quest to secure the network I crashed the whole dang thing. Hopefully it's been fixed. I'm almost afraid to try Big Daddy's computer to see. Which is what started the whole thing. IT person I am not!! We finally got wireless again on the girls computer and I am just fine with that for now!! So how crazy has your Holiday been so far??? tell me tell me I could use a good laugh right now :)
glad to be back on line and posting!

Almost Christmas

Well folks it's almost Christmas Eve!!! Santa is almost here!! I am soo excited I can't wait to see what Santa brings to the family. Not that Santa is everything but still.. just the waiting all day then going to bed knowing something magical is going to happen. I LOVE IT!! Today was the girls first day off school so to celebrate the girls and I spent the day Geocaching. If you haven't heard about it click on Geocaching i've linked it. Anyways we had a BLAST!! We ran all around town looking in the oddest places. We actually did better today than we have before. WOOHOO!! Especially since they were almost all micro's. UGH. Think bullet sized thing in a big park. Big Daddy worked on my Christmas present .. I can't wait to find out what he made me or for him to see what I made him. Which will not be finished because I can't install the printer on his computer. I have it about half finished so it's at least something. He's sooo gonna cry. Oh wait I forgot he's a man I can't say that out loud can I? Anyways We just finished getting ALMOST all of our baking for tomorrow done. I am coming down with the girls cold so I wanted to finish as much as humanly possible in case I'm worse tomorrow. We made Bakalava, Egg Nog Cheesecake, and Pecan Pie. YUMMM. I figgure I can knock out the Sweet Potato's tommorrow with Big Daddy and Eldest help. Then all we have left is the cookies but since we had so much going on this year we opted (I WAS FORCED) to go with all ready made cookies. I figgure even babygirl can make those without my help. So I am not worried.. well I am a little my dad is making his special Christmas Eve Homemade Pizza and I can't miss that!!!!!! So don't panic or freak out.. don't stress.. your family loves you no matter what. This is CHRISTmas. It's not about what gifts you give and how many it's about the LOVE behind them.

Bless his heart...

As you read earlier Babygirl has a cold. Tonight as she was getting ready for bed she told Big Daddy she needed her meh-sin. He looked over at me and said well which one do I give her? She looked at him and said the red kind. He looked back at her and said well I guess I should give her this one it has an antidepressent in it. Wait. What? Huh? He and I both started laughing and he said I really did mean antihistimen. hhehe. She is three years old for crying out loud she is supposed to be moody and cranky. Bless his heart. Actually this is another day I am SOO glad I married him. He's been at work all day slaving away to bring home the bacon so I can fry it up. Now he's doing the dishes for me. I tell ya nothing sexier. We did however get really creative with dinner. I tried to make Hamburgers.. they fell apart so Tim made a kinda hash with Rice. It was YUMMY. Super Duper yummy. I know it sounds odd but it really was good! Now I must go because it is time for the angels to go to bed and for Big Daddy and I to go snuggle and watch a Christmas Movie. He'll probably make me watch Mirical on 34th street but he did the dishes so I guess I'll let him.

We now have a fan page!

a conversation

Mommy: hey there baby (she is climbing in my chair)
Babygirl: (stuffy) *sigh* I have the snotties (a cold)
Mommy: ohh poor thing did Middlest give you her snotties??
Babygirl: No I have my own snotties and Middlest has her own snotties I dont fink they go'd in my nose.
babygirl: *sigh* the snotties are coming out should I go blow my nose?
Mommy: yes baby that would probably be a good thing
Babygirl: okay... Do I have to get up??

Welcome to a slice of my morning

a quiet child

That sounds like the perfect thing doesn't it. Until you stop to think about it. I was sitting here enjoying my morning computer work when I stopped and realized I don't hear babygirl. Usually she is sitting with me while I am working.. she is my sounding board she laughes and says you forgot to say dis mommy. However today she is HOPEFULLY playing nicely in her room. I know she is in there i can hear things moving every so often I'm just not sure what she is doing. I envision my little girl arranging all her dollies and having a sweet little tea party where everyone is wearing cute little dresses and everything but then I remember this is Babygirl. More likely she is making a contraption out of doll hair and bed sheets to hang off of the celing. Don't laugh this is Big Daddy's little girl it could happen. As long as she stays off Eldest's bed everything will be okay. There isn't much she can get into in her room that will hurt her. Uh-Oh here she comes... she was making a pawty and she has a surpwise fo mommy...she found a basket and made a hat. Now she is concerned about getting snotties all over her baby dolls. Awwwww how sweet she is worried about giving her dollies a cold.  I love my babygirl!!!

Christmas Spirit

The stockings are hung on the wall with care. The tree is trimmed. Christmas music is playing. Kids are running and screaming. The dogs are barking. The cat is hiding. It's almost Christmas!!!! yea. Notice that is a little yea and not a YEA!! I have bought all my gifts, they are not wrapped yet. But I still feel like something is lacking. I keep thinking something is missing... we havn't made cookies yet but i dont think that is it. I just cant figgure out what it is. SO today I have decided after church we are going to have family Christmas day. We are going to make a gingerbread house, and Christmas trees... and maybe if I have enough butter we will make cookies.Watch only Christmas movies and only listen to Christmas music. I want the Christmas Spirit to explode all over the house. But I think i need a little Christmas right now!  I'm getting to bogged down with the details of Christmas. Do I have equal number of gifts of all the kids? Where will we be at this time of the day.. Whose house will we be at tomorrow... all that stuff. Yes I think I may even make chili tonight. That is our traditional Christmas meal. OH!! Maybe I'll even talk Big Daddy into going to the mall! What a great way to get in the Christmas Spirit!

I'm up !! I'm up!!

I used to be such an early bird. I would jump out of bed a greet the day with such enthusisam. Some days I wonder what happened to me. Then I remember I had kids. When I was pregnate with Middlest I had morning sickness all day if I woke up early so I got in the habit of going to bed early and staying in bed until 10 or 11 am. The same happened with baby girl. I'd wake up throw-up then go back to bed and sleep it off. Then after I had the babies. I had the 7-2 shift which meant with both babies I sat up and rocked them and tended to them until 2am when Big Daddy would get up with them, although I would have to wake up long enough to feed them before going back to sleep. Then after they were out of that phase I guess it just stuck with me. Now if I have to get up it's one of those dragging me out of bed kinda things. Big daddy starts at 5am and keeps at about every 15 min. If he has to go in REALLY early he sets the alarm on the stove before he leaves knowing that I'd have to get out of bed to turn it off... that beeping is a pain!!! The only reason I bring this up is because last night my mom called to see if I could come and watch the workers while she went to the Seniors group ( she couldn't go last week). Big Daddy offered to go to the Kindergarten Christmas party since I couldn't..which meant he would have to go in to work EXTREAMLY early because he has MAN plans tonight and couldn't work late. So at 8pm last night I took my pills and surprisingly enough fell asleep. When the alarm went off at 5am I was up only slightly bouncing I mean seriously it IS 5am.  It was great to feel like that again. No I think i'd actually still rather be in my nice warm bed.

I also wanted to say a big Thank you to someone very special. I'm not sure he wants to be named so I'll call him " G". Your reading this means the world to me. After all you are doing to keep us safe it's the least I can do to provide you a little humor in your day. Now if I could only get Big Daddy to mail your care package.

my big daddy

I love my husband he is the sweetest man in the world. Thurdays are my favorite days because that is the day I work. Today I didnt work though I was needed at my mothers house to supervise the work men while she was at a Dr.s appt. HOWEVER Big daddy has this new thing at work called a flex schedule ( i think). As long as he works 40 hours and is there from 8-3 (i think) they can set when they come in to work. This means on Thursdays he gets home early to get the school age girls off the bus gets house work done ( and yes he volunterrly does house work!!) and gets supper started. I love it because for one day during the week I feel spoiled. I walk in the door at the house is nice and I didnt have to clean it and dinner is cooking or finished. He comes up with odd meals sometimes but when you are not cooking it, it really doesn't matter as long as it's warm and tastes good going down. Anyways it is time for to feed me and after a long day of supervisng the workers and a three year old in a tiny sunroom I could use a warm relaxing dinner. BTW did I also tell you he is taking a long lunch to go to Middlest's Christmas party tomorrow so I can help my mom out again? I love Big Daddy *sigh* there is just something about a man who doesn't put his job over his girls.

Monday on Tuesday

Today was one of those days that goes from bad to good then back down all over again. A normal occurance in our house im afraid. Last night Middlest woke up with nightmares and a slight fever from a cold she's had brewing. Unfortunaly she would not go back to sleep after she had her medicine. My beloved saintly Big Daddy offered to sit up with her and read to her until she fell asleep so I could go on and go to bed. ( Mommy does not do well on no sleep)This morning I wake up to the girls (the two younger ones) calling me because Middlest had stepped in poop when she woke up. Groan. I get up and open the door to HELL. Genesis pooped in the kitchen. I picked it up and sanitized the floor and go to clean my child... what is that on my kitchen floor it looks like ants..crap.. wait are ants Red and Green? They dumped out the Christmas sprinkles all over my kitchen floor. I hand babygirl paper towels for her sister to clean her own foot because I had this mess to get to now.. i get the floor swept before REAL ant's come in and go to help middlest. There is poop on the living room floor from Geneis. YEA!! So I get that cleaned up..wait what is that smell is that CAKE?? HOLY MOLEY WHAT IS ALL OVER MY LAUNDRY AND COUTCH?? Genesis got a box of cake mix and ate it ON MY CLEAN LAUNDRY and COUTCH!! Get the laundry back into the washer and everything vacumed. By now the girls have run for cover I think the steam from my ears scared them a little. Everything is now cleaned up FINALLY! I walk towards the bathroom to wash the poop and cake off of me and squish. More dog poop this time Indiana's. I have many rules in order to make the house work right. One of the biggest is ALWAYS walk then lock up the dogs in the morning!! Becuase they get into stuff and Indiana tried to get out while we are waiting for the bus. I fianlly am able to sit down and try to get my head in order when my mom calls needing me to get stuff for her. I explain that middlest has a cold and is home today and she offers to make her favorite soup for lunch. YEA FOR MOMMIES!! We get dressed and get the soup eatten and come home. While the girls are napping I sucessfully get more cake pops assembled before Eldest gets home YEA ME!! We decide to put off homework for 45 min in order to get this project done. They actually worked this time! They looked sooo yummy. We finished and got homework done before the little ones wake up from thier nap. Unfortunally Indiana starts acting funny.. shivering and gagging so Eldest drags her outside. Our baby is sick REALLY sick. So she and I decide to take turns outside with Indiana and inside giving the little ones baths. I take my computer out on my turn to talk to Big daddy not realizing how cold it is. My screen cracks. My beloved MAC is now dead. My dog is sick. Big Daddy finally gets home about the time Indie has started feeling better and baths are done (figgures don't it). He decides tonight is the night to get TOYS FOR TOTS. yea. Well Eldest and Middlest loved that idea and Babygirl well in thery she liked it until it finally dawned on her she was not getting those toys. MELT DOWN. We just put everything down and decided maybe it would be best for us to come later with just the older two. So now here I am just relived to have the day over. Reading over this laughing at how unlucky I can be yet still so blessed. Thank you God for everything even the unlucky times!!

Cake pops = Epic Failure

The cake pops were supposed to be soo easy. One cake mix and one can of frosting and then melting chocolate and sticks. HA They kicked our butts. I don't know what we did wrong but we sure messed them up good. The ones that didn't slide down the stick crumbled into pieces.  The girls decided that while this was fun we'd make something else instead. Big Daddy took one look at the kitchen and took us all out for dinner AFTER we washed off all the candy. I love this man!!
After dinner Big Daddy thought he had convinced me that it would be a lot better for everyone if I just let this one go and do something else. He now pleads insanity. He apparently forgot who he was married to. I HATE it when things don't go right I HAVE to keep trying and trying until i get the desired results. I know isn't the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over expecting different results? Well yes it is HOWEVER I KNOW I can make this work I'm just not sure how at the moment. I still have a chocolate cake mix and Chocolate frosting left so while he is at work tomorrow and can not ban me from the kitchen (for my own good or so he says) Babygirl and I will try the cake balls/ pops again. This time we will concur them... if only i could figure out why they kept sliding down. I figure the reason some cracked was maybe some were to dry but the sliding down would imply they were to heavy so wouldn't adding more frosting just make them worse? Who knows.. the only things I get off the net are THEY ARE SOOO EASY.. humph. Stupid heads.

Cake pops

So today Babygirl and I will attempt our first ever cake balls! I think this is a cooking project with her in mind. It involves mashing up a cake and adding frosting then rolling the mixture into balls and freezing them. Does that not sound like a 3 year olds idea of a good time?? Now If I had a new Nikon camera I could take pictures of the whole process just like Pioneer Woman. Hint Hint Big Daddy. :) Now he is saying in his head use the one you already have... well I would but my angels have decided to use mommy's camera again and have walked off with it. AGAIN. If I find it it'll post pictures of the cake pops... they are Red Velvet cake that will be coated in green candy melts the drizzled with red candy melts and will be sprinkled in Christmas sprinkles. HOPEFULLY.
BTW Tim has decided since I won't use the girls' names on here I should call him Big Daddy. This is in no way obscene Its just a name that I started calling him on day out of the blue.

I AM SOOOOO SORRY!!

I didn't realize that I forgot to write anything last night.. although.. I was in no form to be writing last night. Tim took me out for dinner last night. I had one drink ONE and was pretty much passed out asleep 15 min after my first sip. I keep forgetting that alcohol and my medicine do not mix. So yesterday I worked at WS getting things straightened up and wrapping some gifts for my boss I was also supposed to be doing a class yesterday afternoon on homemade decorations. SOO many people that saw them begged me to do a class so I finally gave in. No one showed up. Not one person which was fine right as long as customers came in. I repeat NO ONE came in. Until 3:45 when my bestie T showed up and we sat and talked for what was supposed to be my last 10 min at the shop. I was closing early since no one was coming in and I had to go to Tim's work party. So we just sat and talked since no one was there.. 4:30 rolls around and a car FULL of customers comes in but still no Tim. Tim got there T left so I could work and then leave and well her babies were getting tired and one of them smelled the shop up REALLY bad :). Well the ladies walked around and looked and looked and looked and looked. Which was really good cause they actually bought quite a bunch of stuff and it was my only sale for the day. I just thought it was funny that no one came in until right before I was supposed to leave. I think my boss called them and told them to do that. ( If you are reading this I really do LOVE you ). So we ran home and changed our clothes to get ready for the big company party. The girls picked out a pretty black dress when we went shopping. I thought I looked preg in it until Tim pointed out that I was standing to close to the floor vent and it was poofing my dress out a bit. I was able to make the dress look a little less black. cause I seriously looked like an Adams. So we get to this party and as expected it was VERY hoighty-toighty but it also was not a Christmas party per se but an awards ceremony. We made the rounds talked to some important people then well decided to go have a little mommy and daddy alone time. NO NOT THAT KIND! Tim took me out for dinner at my favorite restaurant and we had so much fun just being together alone, without the kids. It was soooo nice. I wish I could do it more often.
Today Middlest and I went Christmas shopping and for probably the first time EVER in my life I stayed within the budget. Tim rewarded me by getting my the new Frosty the snowman at BUILD-A-BEAR!! We named him Snowfurry actually Eldest did isn't that the cutest name?!! We went and spend the rest of the afternoon at my mommy's house getting stuff out of the attic. WOO let me tell you i thought I had a lot of buckets! I ain't got nothin on this woman! then we came home and I passed out for two hours thanks to the benedryl I had to take after being in the attic. I know. I know me and sleeping drugs this weekend. We also made two Red Velvet cakes to make cake pops out of tomorrow. yummy!

VOTE!!

So after checking out my page today I realized that it can take a long time to load because of the playlist. What do you guys think keep it or lose it?

Lucky me.. part 2

So LUCKY me turned out to not be so lucky. I found out last night that part of the prize I won was a limo ride right? So I called this morning  to find out what time their office was open, The lady told me then said hang on I need to get someone to speak with you about your prize. That NEVER sounds good does it? Well appaerntly the prize was supposed to have been DINNER for 4 a LIMO ride AND 4 Tickets to the ballet plus the other stuff. The lady gets on the phone and explains that the sponsers called yesterday morning and decided they didn't want to do the dinner and limo thing, and they had FORGOTTEN to take if off the site. Okay thats fine I suppose. So I go to get my prizes and I find out that I didn't actually get 4 tickets for the Nutcracker I got a VOUCHER for 2 tickets with a post it saying they are SUPPOSED to have the tickets at will call. hmmm.. well okay. I'll call them and find out what that is about. So I decided to open up the Christmas CD they gave me. It was already opened. Well the singer wasn't really my style but it's Christmas Music right?! Babygirl and I decide to drop by the Jewlers to see what kind of yummys they have so I can tell Santa what momma wants for Christmas. This was a VERY small VERY hoighty toighty place that was NOT very happy that I wasn't going to buy a 300+ $ anything and get 100$ off of it. I'm sorry but this is Christmas the only people in my family who might get that much money spent on them are my girls, and ALL thier gifts prolly won't come up to that much money! Anyways I got what was prolly the only thing in the store for under 100$ and decided it was time to go to work and quit lollygagging. After I get everything all situated I call the theater.. It is in a whole diffrent city between 40-50 miles away. I need to come before 5pm TODAY to get any tickets I need and they may not have all for if I wait. HUH? Well thats not gonna happen. Of the 3 people that were considering going 1 is a friend who would not be allowed to drive that far, 1 was unable to go becuase of a previos engagment, and Me who is letting down her husband my making him go to his company's Christmas party alone ( not my words or my husbands). So none of us could go and I certinaly would not have been able to make it there by 5pm. NO WAY!!! Even if I had been allowed to drive to a strange city without another person with me! So all I really got in the end is a very pretty 80$ necklace and the ability to call my family members and scream IWONIWONDIDJAHEARMEONTHERADIO!!!!!!!!!!!!! and then to come home and say YOU WILL NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENED TO MOMMY TODAY!!!!!!! Which in my opinion seeing Middlest's face light up and her say "really mommy was on the radio? You are the coolest mommy in the world!" Is the best thing ever.

My lucky day!

This afternoon i was listening to the local Christmas Radio station (really cause I was to lazy to put on a CD) Anyways they had the lunch time trivia question. This question was soooo easy I thought for sure I would not be the first caller with the correct answer. I kept calling and calling finally the call was went threw. The lady asked if I was calling about the lunch time trive question and when I said yes and she reasked the question and I gave her my aswer. She said congratulation then nothing. Not you are a winner nothing... then she said you'll get 4 tickets to go see the nutcracker, a 100$ gift certificate to a jewlers and a Christmas CD. I was like HOLY COW I actually won!! I NEVER win ANYTHING! NEVER! Not even board games against my kiddos! Plus this evening I found out that a limo ride to and from is included!!
How freaking awesome is that! I have NEVER been in a limo before! WOOHOOO! I am SOOOO EXCITED!! Pictures will definatly follow!

Spider web of lights

Wednesday's in our house our one of our FAVORITE days because we don't have homework!! So the girls went outside and played until they swore they were getting frostbite (in 50 deg weather). So I gave them the little Christmas tree and a few left over strands of lights to put in thier bedroom. We were not allowed in thier room until they were finished decorating occasionally they'd some out and ask for things like more thumbtacks or more lights ect. They also were not going to go to bed until it was compleatly finsihed. About 8:30 we finally got the all clear and were allowed to see what they had created. Have you ever seen the original parent trap? The Haley Mills one? hehe Thier room looked like the scean where they boobie trapped the tent. There were lights and strands of beads covering they room from one end to the other!!! It was a crazy circus of Christmas Spirit in there let me tell you!! They were upset that we made them turn off the lights for bed but the airport called and the planes thought we were the airport.. ( actually I have a phobia of the house buring down because Christmas lights were left on all night)  Now i just have to pray that no one accidently hangs themselves when they get up in the middle of the night to to potty!!!

Peanut Butter cookies!!!

Yesterday afternoon Tim sprung a Christmas Party potluck on me. Being the sweet obedient well mannered wife that I am I offered to make him Peanut butter cookies for his party. Babygirl, Middlest and I lovingly doubled and measured out all the ingredients, mixed them up and lovingly prepped the cookie pans.  Eldest scooped out the dough and placed in oh so sweetly in the oven. We waited as the smell of cookies permeated the air, peeling the wrappers off of kisses that we were to place on the cookies. Soon the cookies were a perfect golden brown. We removed them and gently placed the kiss sweetly in the center of each cookie, and allowed them to finish cooling.   Once they were cooled we gently lifted them off the pan and watched as the dry cookies crumbled. I had forgotten to add two egg instead of one.  However being the joyous loving and creative women we are we quickly came up with a new idea. We would make our dearest Daddy a Chocolate No bake cheese cake with a Peanut butter cookie crust. It turned out so beautiful so we decided to save the cookies another day and carefully covered them and placed them in the Fridge.  If you know our house you know that we never do anything sweetly and gently.  I had a headache due to the weather the girls were running and screaming through the house, and the Kitchen right now is an obstacle course of boxes from all the Christmas stuff. So you can only imagine what it was REALLY like while we were making that stuff.
After a good nights sleep ( I was heavily medicated) Baby girl and I needed an adventure we needed excitement! We needed PEANUT BUTTER KISSY COOKIES!!!!! Well I DONT need them but the girls love them so... Anyways I'm sure every one knows how to make the KISS kind soo gooey and yummy chocolate-y. We made 2 dozen of the kiss cookies. Gotta make some for the kids and some for Santa.
We also made Eldest' favorite they are called PB&J cookies I just made them up but i know everyone has something similar. You make a indention in you pb cookie blob on the pan and spoon in some Jelly ( we ALWAYS use strawberry) then cover is slightly with another bit of cookie dough. We don't cover it all the way because we want people to see the jelly. They are soooooo good!! The only down fall is you HAVE to wait for them to COMPLETELY cool before eating one. That jelly gets HOT!  Don't they look soooo good?
I can hear them calling from the kitchen.. I will not heed their call. I think it's time for a movie... somewhere where I can not smell the cookies.

Elf on the shelf or video camera ?

Last night well.. all the time my little "angels" have some trouble keeping their ears turned on. I thought about what I could do to remind them Santa is watching. I remembered this toy a lady at work told me about. It's called "Elf on a Shelf". If you have not heard it is apparently the one of THE toys of the Christmas season. It's about 30$ which by some is not considered a lot of money but by me it is. Anywho. This elf is a spy for Santa. You adopt him and give him a name and put him in a special spot in your house. At night when everyone is asleep he goes to the North Pole and reports back to Santa. Then he comes back home and sits in a diffrent spot. Each morning the kids are supposed to look and see where he is sitting. It's a kinda cute idea. HOWEVER. this is what the doll looks like :

Now I don't know about you but however cute the idea is if you get a freaky looking doll like that the nightmares are going to start. It looks like some evil twisted idontknowwhat and I was NOT bringing that thing into my house let alone adopt it! I like feeling secure in my home... with that i'm afraid i'd get an evil elf and he'd try to stab me in the middle of the night. Does he not look evil?!  I know, I know i'm going to hell for insulting Santa's elf. But seriously look at the look of his face!!! So anyways I talked to Big daddy about it and he was not inclined to frighten our children with thoughts of little elves sneaking in and out of the house in the middle of the night. So we came up with a cheaper idea , one that would not give the children nightmares. The Web Cam. Tim's idea was to set up the Web Cam and allow Santa or Santa's elves to peek in on the girls periodically to see how they are behaving. A SuperFab idea!! They are well familliar with how the web cam works they know Aunt Oregon can see and talk to them. It worked out great.. until bath time when my nudists decided to run through the house naked with Eldest screaming DORKS! You ran in front of Santa NAKED!!!! Mommy had to explain that the camera gets turned off when mommy says bath time!  By the way just as you know a disclaimer the WEB CAM stays unplugged so no one can hack in to it or anything. But the KIDS don't know that :)

Blessings

My middlest has what is called Ventricular septial defect which is a tiny hole in her heart. We were lucky, it was in a good place and would not affect her growth or development in anyway. She is in kindergarten and one of the biggest kids in her class. So we were not worried about her development, but we did worry about her catching germs or getting sick. Her Last appt. I was told that at her age her heart would not heal if it had not already. We upset to hear this news but continued to pray for her healing. About two weeks ago we got an appt. card in the mail from Middlest's pediatric cardiologist saying she was due for an appt. This was a little odd since she went last year. The Sectary said to just go ahead and bring her in any way. So we made an appt.  and her daddy took her in since he had not for quite a while. Since her last appt. her heart has healed! I was stunned when they came home and told me! 100% healed! She should not ever have to go back to the cardiologist again! For the rest of her life she will be a normal child and we wont have to worry about antibiotics or germs again!! Well outside of the normal precautions!! God does answer prayers just not always in the time we thought he would!

Tim forgot to put up the tinsel yesterday but thats okay The girls and I can do it while he's wrestling with the lights. Usually we are so busy during this time that I put the tree and lights up while everyone is gone and we decorate it later. not today!! Today we are all in this together! Pray for sanity!!! Where do they learn this stuff?!

My boss at WiseScrappers has been a little loopy this week. She has been trying to get things ready for a craft fair. It has been CRAZY. So here are some funny clips from the week.

Mommy : Babygirl this is your bible page for today. See God sent a special Angel named Gabriel to tell Mary that....
Babygirl : Mommy thats not an Angel it's the FAIRY Gabriel.
Mommy: No sweetheart God sent an ANGEL to go talk to Mary about....
Babygirl : Mommy everyone knows that God sended a FAIRY to tell everyone about Jesus.
Mommy: Sweetheart Gabriel is an Angel. Not a fairy. We need to go color our picture now.
Babygirl: See mommy he has fairy wings so I colored him all pretty.
Mommy : Whatever babe lets just stick it on the fridge

The next day at work:

Babygirl : look I bringed my puff book
Boss lady: OH!
Babygirl and Boss lady : *singing* Puff the magic dragon lives by the sea and frolics in the Autumn mist.. (wait for it)
Boss Lady: In a land called Galilee
Babygirl: huh
Mommy: *laughing* umm Hon JESUS lives in Galilee Puff  lives in HONALEE...
Boss Lady: Oh DUH I knew that!!
Mommy: Hey did you know that God sent the FAIRY Gabriel to tell Mary she was having a baby?

I LOVE my life!!!

The first day of December!

We are trying to have a more Christ centered Christmas this year so one of the things we are doing is celebrating Advent each night. Doing a bible lesson based on that weeks candle. This week is Hope. I also found a page today that breaks up the Birth of Jesus into 24 lessons one for each night! AWESOME! I got my little ppl nativity in the mail today so during our lesson we talked about Gabriel talking to Zachriah and Mary and then the girls got to act it out with thier ppl! We also made a special shelf just for them so that with each lesson they can add a new part! I am soo excited! It's also pretty neat to go through and diesect the story because the littler girls don't remember much of it so it's new to them but Eldest is 11 and finally starting to understand the story, with out it having to be edited. ' Cause in our house being a Virgin means she hasn't kissed any boys :P Oh I forgot to mention Middlest's teacher actually told the kids the story about Pointsetta's today in school. VERY INTRESTING. Eh? Thank God for the Bible Belt.

Doggies and Super nasty bread

The past few days have been a wee bit ..well hairy. Yesterday my mothers 100+ lbs lab Sunshine came to spend the night. HOLY DOG HAIR BATMAN!! My two dogs are fluffy and hairy during certin times of the year but MAN I have NEVER seen a dog shed this much! We went to pick her up from the vet's office and within 10 minutes my clothes were COVERED in dog hair! As we got out of the car babygirl said mommy your car is all hairy now we need to clean it, Sunshine gots hair all over! Yep. By the end of the evening my nice clean and vacumed livingroom looked like a blond got shaved! It was soo funny. What was even funnier is the night before I had been complaining that Indie wouldn't sit in my lap all I ever wanted was a little lap doggie and now my little baby wouldn't sit in my lap. Well as soon as I let Indie out when Sunshine was here thats where she went. Right into my lap, and stayed there. If i sat down so did she, If I got up she walked right beside me. She was up my butt even worse than babygirl. Bad part is i'm allergic to dogs so when they get in my face I get all itchy and we had used the last of the benedryl hanging Christmas stuff (allergic to dust too). The girls LOVED having sunshine over to visit! I love Sunshine but I finally understood why mom board's her instead of letting me keep her. Three dogs and three little girls in one tiny trailer can get a bit well LOUD. Let's just say a lab's bark in a LOT deeper than a terrier's. Indie's bark is sharp Sunshine's reverberated. The girls LOVED it. Sunshine slept in their room something they have always wanted. Genesis sleeps with mommy because she always has and Indie sleeps in her cage so they were so happy when Sunshine followed them in there. OH I have to tell you!! This morning I called my mom to see if she was ready for her baby to come home as soon as Sunshine heard her voice she sat up and started whining so I put the phone to her ear and she was whining at my mom it was the cutest thing I have ever seen! Babygirl wasn't happy that we had to take Sunshine back but she got over it. Sunshine is now safely back with her mommy away from all the annoying kiddo's. Genesis slept all day. Indie wears her out but she never has been able to keep up with Sunshine.
So this super nasty bread. I've been wanting to branch out and try some pumpkin bread to make bread pudding and I finally found a recipie I could make in the bread machine and not have to hassle with. I followed the directions to the T even when it called for 3 TABLESPOONS of Pumpkin Pie Spice. The bread smelled sooooo good cooking. The bread machine beeped we gathered around to taste the hot fresh bread.  Babygirl said I dun like this mommy frow it away. Middlest said hmm well I don't want any to take to school tomorrow (a bad sign). Eldest said why don't YOU try it and tell me what YOU think (definatly not good! she only says that to not hurt my feelings) It was HORRIABLE. I mean REALLY bad! As I spit my piece back out Eldest just said yep. So we looked over the recipe and decided to up the ammount of suger and only put in 1 Tbsp Pumpkin Pie spice. This batch turned out much better. To be honest though it tasted like white bread that was orange. I'm not going to post pictures or the recipe because it was THAT BAD. We tore up both loaves and poured egg mixture over it. Tomrrow I'm going to take them to work and try making Bread pudding in the Crockpot. If nothing else it will make the store smell good.

Creeped out at New Moon

I took eldest and her cousin to go see New Moon tonight. The movie was wonderful!! I loved it.. just what I needed and just as one of the reviews I read had said I spent half the movie going he's just 16.. he is just 16. During the movie I got kinda creeped out as I looked around and saw that 75% of the ppl at the theater were women usually in twos or threes my MOTHERS age!!!!! All audible gasped when Jacob took his shirt off for the first time. EWWW!! Not that I blame them though. What really terrified me was the two tween's I was supervising spent the 30 min drive back home discussing who was hotter Jacob or Edward, who was hotter of all the wolf pack and who was the hottest Vampire. SIGH. Up until tonight Eldest has SWORN that boys still have cooties and are disgusting. I'll just hope that she continues to just drool over the guys on the Movies and not the ones in real life!!! Right now they are holed up in the playroom for thier sleep over glued to the TV screen watching Twilight for the millionth time. Oh well. I suppose they do have to grow up. Just not so fast.

My little middlest

Poor little girl... the middle child. So neglected. So ignored. Poor thing nobody loves her. She got jelouse becuase Eldest got to spend a day with her mommy and baby girl ALWAYS gets to go EVERYWHERE with mommy. Poor thing. She conviently forgets she was sick 2 weeks ago and had everyone calling her and sending cards, got special soda , and mommy made her soup from scratch. So since mommies have to be fair and balanced I decided that I would take and spend some special shopping time with my middlest girl. She was sooo excited. We went and got doughnuts and chocolate milk listened to her favorite CD. Laughed, talked and did a lot of shopping for a friend of ours. We went to our FAVORITE place.. BOOKS A MILLION!! We got to pick out new books. Eventually we found our way back home to unload our packages. What does she say?? I thought we were going on a picnic too?? HUH????!!!! Sigh... apparently 3 hours with mommy wasn't enough. My question is this can a mother EVER give all her kids all the attention they want?  I think im going to re-think this million Rachael thing. From what I figgure I need one for all the housework, one for each kid, one for hubby, and one to run all the errands. HAHAHA AND I WANT ANOTHER KID!! WHAT AM I THINKING!!!

Black Friday!

I LOVE black friday!! I love going to the stores and watching people fight over the NEWEST TOY OF THE YEAR! Call me sick and twisted but I feel so sad when the local news has no stabbings or major fight stories. Oh The comericalization!!! It's just AWESOME! Unfortunatly this year Timothy had to work and so I could not go with eldest to Walmart at 3am to watch the madness. Funny enough though we as a family decided to forgo the comercialzation for a more CHRIST-mas. We voted for one gift and our anuall socks, panties, outfit and special decoration. The gift was decided and voted on it was a Computer and Printer just for the girls. One for them to do thier learning games and homework assignments. We looked through the sale ad's and Tim found the one he wanted. The 200$ Walmart special. Tim had never been to a black friday sale so I cautioned him against it. He had NO idea what he was getting into!! Nope he was going to get this one thing for his little girls. I could not change his mind. At 11pm he got up and went to wait at the store for the sale items. Luckly for him he got the computer with no problem. He was shocked though at how long the lines were. Every lane was open and there were 30 ppl at least in each line. SHOCKED! *snort* i've seen them wrap around the store before! Anyhow he got out and got to work without seeing anything intresting. When he got home we headed out to LOWES for the singing toys we had our eyes on. Once we got those we got HALF of our Christmas decorations from storage and headed for home to start decorating. We got ALMOST all of the  little dolls and toys, wall hangings ect. up and out. Tomorrow we will straighten up the house and get the tinsel hung and eventually we will get the tree up but only one thing at a time. Or at least thats what Tim tells me to do. Silly Boy! hehe I also found Indiana and Genesis leigh's Christmas shirts. I'll post pictures later! They look soooooooo TUTE!

oh what a beautiful day!!!!!

I just feel like singing today! I started reading a new book from a friend of mine called "created to be his help meet. I have learned that during my Bible studies I may not always agree with someone's point of view God often shows me what I need to see at that time or during that day. Today he reminded me that while I feel I am a good wife, who tries to be submissive to her husband, takes good care of the home and children. I feel like... well I know I'm not meeting all of my husbands needs. We love each other very much and take care of each other but to be honest LIFE gets in the way of what we emotionally need. Today's reading remind me of how much he needs me in other ways then just BEING there and taking care of things for him, although he appreciates it.. that doesn't feed his soul. So right now I am concentrating on winning my husbands heart all over again. Can't have him looking for what I'm not emotionally giving him from some skanky ho now can I  ( I WOULD JUST LIKE TO STRESS THAT MY HUSBAND LOVES ME VERY MUCH AND WOULD RATHER KILL HIMSELF THAN CHEAT ON ME. BUT IF I DONT MEET HIS NEEDS IT ALLOWS FOR A CRACK TO HAPPEN IN THE FOUNDATION )? So i left him messages on his phone and facebook telling him how much I love and miss him. I flirted with him over the computer while he was working, talked to him in a sweet kind voice even when I had a killer headache and the kids were making me crazy. He was so joyful to come home. He knew his wife was happy to see HIM and not just someone else to help with the girls. Anyways something must have worked because he is cleaning out my fridge right now WITHOUT having been asked. BUT what I thought was so great was that my determination to make him feel better made ME feel more at peace with myself (could just be the extra meds). I stopped and just relaxed. baby-girl  and I went to the store to get Thanksgiving groceries and bought a cookie for treats. Normally it would have been home and nap but she was being so good and when she asked if we could go to Home Depot to look at the Christmas toys I say of course the groceries and house would still be there. We have a great time dreaming about everything and turning on all the music toys just to see what they played. When we finally got home she of course still did not want to take a nap but play outside ( just for five min mommy) so I grabbed my book and she showed me how good she was getting riding her trike. We just enjoyed spending time together . I always enjoy spending time with her but sometimes it just feels for special than others this was one of those days. Even when Eldest and Middlest came home I was laying down reading in bed they came in and we all four snuggled in my bed under the covers no one cared that there were shoes in the bed or anything we just talked about the day and loved on each other. I just feel LOVE today. Maybe there is LOVE in the air. Thanks T for the book, although I don't think i'll ever be discreet or silent in church :) but I'll try .

reading up on Advent

Every year before the Advent season starts I try to brush up on my knowledge of which candle is goes where ect. This years search turned up something a little unexpected from something usually taken so seriously.... the writer of the text would say (blank) candle is the candle of... this is the verse recomended to go with it... then snuff out the candel at the end of service. I thought okay normal stuff until further down you get this... You notice how I emphasize snuffing out the candles at the end of each service? This has absolutely no liturgical significance whatsoever, but it is vitally important and you must not leave it out. It prevents the candles from burning your house down.
I recommend that you snuff out the candles, rather than blowing them out. The reason is that if you blow them out, you might spray hot wax over everything.
My laugh for the day .
ALSO Do you know how many of our Christmas traditions were actually " modernized" by Martin Luther? Apparently he is credited with starting Advent wreaths and Christmas trees... also something about Christkindle the person we now know as Santa Claus??? But I didn't quite understand what he had to do with that it still bears mentioning. I guess. hahah what can I say it's late and I was up at 5:30 this morning.

I will however be doing more research into Christian costmes and where and how they have evolved. If you are anything like me you like to know the stories behind our traditions. Peace out word to yo momma!!!

kiddo craft day

The other day when bestest bud and baby girl had their playday @ wise scrappers we madde several projects. One was an embossed Turkey. What you do is take a flower pattern and copy it on to several diffrent print papers. Cut out the flowers. Then emboss with swirlys in a fall type color. We used gold. Then cut out each petal and glue to a body. thats the hardest part. The body and arms are two circles the head is a smaller cirlcle. then cut out a beak and feet out of orange papers. They turned out so cute!! I let the girls do most of the cutting so they were very much child made.

We also added fun flock for that extra little touch of zing (for feathers)
After they had a change to play and eventually started picking on eachoother. We started a new project. I decided to make a simple Finnish Star with them but with on exception. We embossed it as well with winter wonderland embossing powder.. and bridal embossing powder.  Bestest's side was bridal and baby girls was the winter wonderland. We were going to emboss each one with both but well we forgot. :)

Baby girls side of the Finnish Star

bestest's side of the finish star
Bestest's ended up much more subtle and very snow like where as baby girls was much more obvious and more silver.

somedays

Some days baby girl is sweet and obident and other times well... i'll just say she isnt. :) Today she cried all morning to watch Ariel, so since she was a little nuts  and had already dumped out a puzzle, memory, uno and her Melissa and Doug Birthday set I went ahead and turned it on and got stuff ready to jump in the shower. Because you think a 3 1/2 year old is big enough to understand mommy is going to take a shower DO NOT GET INTO STUFF and well I needed a little baby girl break.   I got out of the shower to find she had decided to get into mommy's room and find her good makeup and play with it. All over the outside of my computer. Yep white shows all the brown eye shadow and eye liner really well. I just sighed and put her down for nap. Did I also mention she had found Eldest's stash of hershey bars and ate 4 of them??? Now mommy REALLY needed a break!! So I cleaned the mess up and went and hid in my room to try and read a chapter or two of a book.  I fell asleep. I woke up to baby girls prancing little foot steps so I come out planning on taking her outside to play since it had FINALLY warmed up.. she had gotten into the pantry and ate the girls lunch chips and had drank 3 of thier Capri Suns. I wonder why she never eats dinner now i know. This time she cleaned up her mess and sat in time out. We played some games and snuggled and waited for the bus to get home so we all could play. I went out to meet the bus while she changed into clothes (because we can't take naps in our play clothes we HAVE to wear jammies). Sigh. She colored on the wall with a wipe off marker that doesn't wipe off walls to well. So she got to clean that up as well. We were then able to go outside and finish working on mommy's bike and play THANKFULLY she can distroy all she wants to outside it's not going to matter much. haha. Daddy finally gets home and I decide to escape and get Eldest from her field trip. Daddy sends the girls in to go clean thier room. I get home all is mostly peaceful. Occasionally we get a SHE HIT ME but nothing to major. We find out why. Bedtime rolls around and they are all night gowned up and hair and teeth brushed. Daddy goes in to kiss them and I hear UH OH I think you better come in here mommy. crap. THEY COLORED ALL OVER THEIR CARPET! A 3 year old and a 5 year old!!!!!!! I was SOOO mad. We finally got them all dealt with and FINALLY got them in bed. Poor Eldest is was her Birthday and It was not going the way she had planned... as a matter of fact she had fallen asleep on the couch so no special movie tonight straight to bed. She had had a long day, she was up at 4 so she could get ready for her Montgomery field trip (had to be at the school by 5). When I say she was mad I mean we got the stomping feet and the FINE out of her which she has NEVER done.  However you could tell she needed sleep more than staying up late and there is always tomorrow. At least for her... as for her sisters I'm still not sure.

Indians and such

Today was Eldest and middlest's special Thanksgiving lunch at their school. Baby girl found out the
Kindergartners were going to be dressing us as Indians so she dressed up too. In her little house on the prarie outfit. VERY CUTE! She and Middlest has so much fun eatting together. It was sooo sweet. Then we went back to her class and they sang all the parents some Turkey songs. Daddy went to Eldest's lunch since babygirl and I had to head  to work. We had a very important job today. I was babysitting our bestest bud today. It was great! Everytime the girls started getting a little crazy I gave them a new project to do. We made turkey's, stars AND decorated the Christmas tree in the shop. They were VERY well behaved. AND I got ideas for an AWESOME addition to the stars we had been working on. When bestest's mommy got back she and I got down to bussiness making newer and cooler stars. I sooo wish I had not forgotten my camera at the store. So sorry no pictures today but maybe in a few days when I head back up that way.

My new little Shark

Tim bought me one of those steam mops because I HATE to mop! Love to vacume.. hate mopping. We have a swiffer wet but.. Well the girls love it more than I do. I just think it skims.. everytime I try to scrub it breaks :). So Eldest and I moved everything out of the kitchen and filled up the Shark. We were excited about the results we got from where the dog's cage sits. It was nasty! It didn't exactally cut through the yuck leaving a trail of clean sanatarty floor behind but it wasn't stinky and caked with fur anymore. YEA!! We went slowly over the stuff thinking the steam would have more time to set in and break gunk up.. not so much. But after about 20 min of going back and forth we had a clean dog area. We changed pads cause I WAS NOT putting that on my kitchen floor! New pad more water AND we discovered you don't go slow you go FAST.. the more you pump the more steam came out! It got all most all of the gunk that collects around cabnits and the fridge. I think a second time will work better. Was I astounded?? Not really,  BUT my floors were REALLY dirty!! It did not get up dried up paint or dye from spilled orange wax, or any of the other stains that have been there forever.  It also does not do corners well.. its a little like a vacume ( doesnt get all the way to the edge kinda thing). I didn't really expect that it would  though. I do think for a weekly or daily it would work better and may even get some of that stuff up. I think two pads are not enough though. I used both cleaning the kitchen. I am excited to use it again. It is lightweight but not flimsy.

one of those kinda days

Sometimes we all need to step back and look at things from a different perspective in order to see things in a better light. I am hoping this is one of those times. Today started out a little crazy as normal. Kids running and screaming that they can't find their homework, can't find socks..etc. Now you have to understand that EVERY evening I tell them to get their clothes ready for school the next day so this doesn't happen and EVERY morning it does. They all finally get dressed and get everything together and lunches made and out the door to wait for the bus. PHEW. Now everything will calm down right?? Wrong.  It has suddenly turned into winter outside. Yesterday was at least in the 70's today it is 45 no kidding. It is freezing and babygirl has grown so much that her ONLY sweater comes to her elbows and belly.. its kinda funny :). So anyhow I head out to Wal-mart to get a few essentials like Dog food and kitty litter. Well walmart has some of the UGLIEST shirts i have EVER seen for little girls (sorry Uncle Oregon but they were). The only ones i could somewhat tolerate look like thermals and were only in 5t so I got 3 thinking that if she grows anymore I'm covered. We then went to see if we could find some for middlest and we found ERIC CARLE shirts!!!!!!!! I bought all three that they had! Speaking of which i need to email Uncle Oregon and he if he has more at his store. Middlest's Kindergarten Class has been doing an Eric Carle theme and has read like EVERY book he has written. You wanna know who he is just ask middlest, she even knows his wife's name and where he lives. Anyways I get all the essentials and get to check out there is 3 lanes open. I can't even tell you how much it annoys me that they have 30 cashier lanes and 3 open, the lines are always packed with SAHM's with full buggies and babies just screaming . after standing in line LONGER than it took us to fill the buggy we get out to the car where Tim calls to tell me not to buy milk and eggs because he already did. Little to late there bud. So we get home and get the stuff put away but we smell something funky. No one took out the trash. We have TWO trash cans both are full! Tim is supposed to take it in his truck to the dumpster since i can't in the van and I'm not supposed to leave it outside because it attracts cats. I do it any how. :P I have to turn on the heat because it is soo freaking cold in the house (the AC had been running). The girls didn't do chores last night so no dishes are washed or laundry AND Indiana decided she was finished with her food and dumped it over the floor so now there is dog food ALL over the kitchen, which is SO messy from those who make breakfast and lunches not cleaning up that I just kinda want to throw up my hands and go ANY WHERE else and say I'm not cleaning this S#$% up and go somewhere fun. I know SAHM's are supposed to have clean houses but frankly babygirl and I get tired of cleaning up after everyone and we just want to play too, since everyone else gets to. So we played Chutes and Ladders and then she opted to take a nap (after we swept the floor cause stepping on things is a MAJOR pet peeve of mine). So now I'm all alone venting instead of cleaning. Which btw I do feel better now hahahahaha AND my mom called and said the Date Nut Log turned out perfectly. Maybe I have a hand for candy after all.

wooo!

Well eldest and I are on our second day of working out which I know does not seem like a bunch of time. We rode 3 more miles today. GO US! We rode the entire length of the southern greenpath. I was very proud of us both! Eldest wanted to go further. I thought I was going to vomit :).  I just have a basic no gears bike and the greenpath was pretty level but by the end I was struggling on those little tiny hills. I forgot that no matter if the seat looks comfy haha it doesn't mean it is. MY HINEY IS SORE!! I thought trying to go potty with my knees was bad enough but nothing is worse than sore knees and a sore hiney! HOWEVER in the past two days I have rode OVER 6 miles and I can still walk! I am overjoyed!!! It's raining tonight but hopeful it will seace long enough for babygirl and I to try out the new bike seat I bought today. In other news my mom's knees are bothering her really badly and with her trip coming up she is kinda...umm having a nervose breakdown :) So I went over and helped her do a little cookin. I learned how to make Date nut bars and her secrect fruit cake. WOOHOO!

my new bike

This is my new bike. A Huffy cruiser. It is AMAZING! Since trying Grumpa's Townie I have been doing research on those types of bikes. Ones that people with back and knee problems can ride. I discovered that the basic cruiser type of bikes are simpler and easier for those who can't ride any more. We have been looking around and pricing bikes and were dismayed to discover they were WAY out of our budget and that means no. If it cost that much we dont need it at all. Luckily we remembered there is a special store of us budget minded folks. Walmart!! We found a cruiser bike at Walmart for less than the other stores.. to be honest we could have bought 3 Townies for the price of my bike. I was sooo excited!! We went on a family bike ride as soon as we could. Well a girls only bike ride. Daddy followed the little girls walking Indie. I warned Eldest that I may not be able to go fast or far. She understood so we took off and ended up riding over 3 miles!! It was so amazing to acutally be able to ride again! Now this is a simple basic bike... it doesn't even have hand brakes only the baby push backward brakes and no gears but I love it! We will get to be so close in the next few months!

An odd dream

I had a very weird dream last night. It was kinda sad in a City of Angels kind of way. Me and This guy were both students at this school and we worked for this professor I don't know what I was but I wasn't this professors student. I had this terriable crush on the guy but never acted like I did becuase he had a girlfriend and I was well me hahaha. Then one day he started looking and saying things to me that made me think he had a crush on me as well. Those looks you get that make your heart pound and accidental brushes of the hand kinda things that make everything so much more awwww. Any how one day he said he needed to leave early because he said he had something to do but he needed to turn in his paper to the professor. I told him the line to get things checked was really long and he really didn't look at them when so many ppl were there but if I gave it to the professor he'd definaty look over it. He also asked if I could orginaze it for him then he left. So i laid it out and started organizing his papers they were all about falling in love with your soul mate so I passed it along like i Was supposed to. about an hour later a phone call came into the office he had been in a car accident coming back from his girlfriends house. We were all devistated. No one more than me. Then a friend of both of our came into the office and handed me a note it was she said the last page of his paper that he had forgotten to include.. It wasn't in a way it was a note to me telling that he had broken up with his girlfriend because he felt we were soul mates and he had fallen in love with me the first day we met and up until recently he never imagined I had felt the same way about him. I woke up crying. It so hard in dreams like this because Timothy is ALWAYS the guy and just to think that I might lose him just like that kills me.

the dreaded STREP!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Thursday morning we woke up to a VERY whiney little girl. Daddy just kinda brushed it off to not sleeping well the night before but MOMMY thought to check her for a fever.  Middlest was BURNING up. No school for her. She tried pleading and begging but to no avail Mommy wouldn't budge. She was very upset with me. As the day went on her whining got worse and so did her fever. Looks like a trip to the Dr. She ended up having Strep. Great. Well we have all been exposed. So today Momma bought the girls the new Tinkerbell movie (Aunt Becky told me I had to) . We laid in bed watching movies and drinking Ginger Ale. It was great! Until we smelled something... Apparently Indiana's tummy didn't like the big special bone I bought for her. It was NASTY. We had to give the poor dog a bath. We left in the bathroom for a few min to dry off while I cleaned out her bed and She had an upset tummy again. Poor thing. She had to get another bath. Good thing she likes water. We finally get to the school and pick up Eldest and she volunteers to hole up with her sisters and watch Tinkerbell again should I mention for the 3rd time today?! All the while all this was going I was making my yummy potato soup. It ended up being a great night but a LONG day and now all I need is a nap.
